Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse- Provide comprehensive care to patients: newborns, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics
- Administer transfusions and manage specialized equipment such as Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun
- Manage patient symptoms for stroke, sepsis, trauma, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Prepare and administer required drips and medications effectively and safely
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care
Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse- Active New York RN License with NURSYS verification
- Minimum 2+ years ED experience with pediatrics, including documented travel experience
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
- Driver's license with matching demographics
