Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated ED RN for a travel assignment in Utica, NY. This role requires an experienced emergency department nurse to work 36 or 48 hours per week handling a range of patient needs, including pediatrics. The successful candidate will join a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to providing the highest standard of emergency care.

Key Responsibilities of the ED RN- Provide care to emergency department patients, including SANE
- Manage patients across varying age groups: newborn, pediatrics, adults, geriatric
- Handle common diagnoses: stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
- Administer required drips and medications, including pressors and vasodilators
- Float to different units as required
Requirements of the ED RN- Active NY license verified by Nursys
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- 2+ years of experience in an ED environment with some pediatrics experience
- Travel experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Reside more than 75 miles from the facility
