Location: Norwich, NY

Pay: $2,665.80/weekly

Shifts: 3 x 12, 7pm-7:30am, 36 hours/week, every other weekend

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
  • Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients
  • Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management
  • Administer medications safely and in accordance with policy
  • Participate in nursing shared governance and improvement initiatives
  • Engage in professional development and continuing education
  • Provide a supportive environment for new employees and students
  • Perform duties of Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator as needed

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse License
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
  • 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
  • Experience with EPIC system
  • Associate's degree from an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred
