**Exciting Opportunity for Float RN in ED and Med Surg Unit!**
**Job Description:**
- Join an innovative 16-week pilot program!
- Work in both the Emergency Department (ED) and Med Surg Unit.
- Benefit from tiered rates based on mileage.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Float between ED with a full assignment and Med Surg, managing a patient assignment with a 1:5 ratio.
- Must be flexible with scheduling—availability for every other weekend and potential holiday shifts is essential.
**Requirements:**
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, ENPC, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of in-unit experience in both ED and Med Surg settings.
- Previous travel experience (at least one travel assignment).
- Charge experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in EPIC from the last 2 years is non-negotiable.
**Additional Information:**
- Orientation every two weeks on Monday.
- Reliable personal transportation is a must; public transport is not accessible.
- All-season or snow tires are required from November to April.
- Employment gaps over 90 days must be clearly explained.
