Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED (Emergency Department)- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate
- Perform triage and treatment interventions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Requirements of the RN - ED (Emergency Department)- Active NY State RN license
- 3+ years of experience in the Emergency Department specialty
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC or ATCN, PALS, NIHSS certifications
- Epic charting system experience
- Must be willing to float
