Description: This position requires working in a fast-paced emergency room setting. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, as shifts will vary based on staffing needs. The nurse will be expected to work weekends and 2 out of the 3 winter holidays. Approval for time off is limited to a maximum of 40 hours per contract. The daily patient census in the emergency room is approximately 165, with a total of 71 beds available. The nurse will treat a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support will include physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and more. It is essential that candidates possess the required certifications and demonstrate relevant experience. All submitted candidates must provide verification of qualifications and references. Travelers may be required to float to various departments as necessary. Education requirements prefer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
