Description:
This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in a fast-paced environment.
The nurse will be responsible for direct patient care in an emergency setting.
The role will include floating between units as needed, with support provided.
Candidates must be open to accommodating block scheduling as per manager discretion.
The patient demographics include neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily census averages around 185 visits per day.
Nurses will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services.
The position requires skill in various emergency procedures and care of critically ill patients.
It is essential to have effective communication and teamwork skills.
Candidates must commit to working selected holidays and request any time off upfront during submission.
Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to float may be necessary to meet unit needs.
