Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM
Location: Must live 75 miles away for travel opportunities; locals within 75 miles are welcome.
Requirements:
- Up-to-date resume showcasing 2+ years of ED experience with pediatric experience.
- Documented travel experience is mandatory.
- Skills Checklist matching the specialty is required.
- Drivers license with address matching demographics.
- Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
- Active NY License - NURSYS Report required.
- RTO must be included at the time of submission.
EMR Experience: Proficiency in EPIC is a must.
Unit: Emergency Department, featuring 64 beds including:
- 2 Triage
- 40 Acute
- 6 Super Track
- 2 Trauma
- 10 CDU
- 6 Psych
Common Patient Diagnoses:
- Stroke
- Sepsis
- Trauma
- MI
- Cardiac Arrest
- Respiratory Failure
Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
Patient Demographics: Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics
Charge Capability: Highly Preferred
Floating Required: Yes
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Required Drips & Medications:
- Pressors: Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine
- Vasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG
- Anti-arrhythmic: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido
- Sedation: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, TNK, Heparin, Insulin
