**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
- **Shift:** 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM
- **Location:** Must live 75 miles away for travel assignments; locals welcome
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department (ED)
- Pediatric experience is a plus
- Must have travel experience
- Up-to-date resume required
- Skills Checklist matching specialty
- Valid driver's license with address matching demographics
- Current certifications:
- AHA ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
- NURSYS Report for license verification with ACTIVE state license required
- RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at submission
- EMR Experience: EPIC
**Unit Information:**
- **Unit Type:** Emergency Department
- **Charge Capability:** Highly preferred

- **Number of Beds:** 64 (including 2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych)
**Patient Caseload:**
- Diverse patient population: Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric
- Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
**Specialized Equipment:**
- Rapid Infusor
- Arctic Sun
**Required Medications and Drips:**
- Pressors: Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine
- Vasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG
- Anti-arrhythmic: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lidocaine
- Sedation: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, TNK, Heparin, Insulin
