**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Room Team - Nights!** **Job Description:** - Are you a passionate Registered Nurse looking to make a real impact in the Emergency Room? - Join a dedicated team that provides exceptional care to a vibrant community of approximately 10,000 people. - Be part of a 24/7 Emergency Department with Physicians on duty at all times, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess and triage patients presenting for emergency care based on history, physical assessment, and chief complaints. - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to acutely and critically ill patients. - Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by physicians, including medication, IV fluids, and blood transfusions. - Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment effectively. - Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals for optimal patient care. - Initiate and implement patient education plans as directed by physicians. - Skillfully clean and bandage wounds. - Maintain professionalism while managing multiple urgent tasks in a fast-paced setting. - Keep accurate and concise records of all care provided in the required formats. - Uphold punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts. - Complete all required orientation and training with enthusiasm. - Respect and integrate tribal/cultural traditions and practices into patient care. - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times. **Required Qualifications/Skills:** - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program. - Current, active nursing license in the U.S. - Minimum of three years of nursing experience with preference for ER experience. - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP (must obtain if not current). - Exceptional social interaction skills and professionalism. - Ability to work independently and handle challenging situations with tact and respect. **Physical Requirements:** - Capacity to lift 20-50 lbs, with potential heavy lifting involved. - Regularly walk, stand, sit for extended periods, and use hands for various tasks. - Requires fine motor skills and full range of motion in all extremities. **Language Requirements:** - Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
