Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM shift; 64-bed Emergency Department with block scheduling available

Highlights:

  • High-acuity Emergency Department treating stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure patients
  • Comprehensive ED with 64 beds including acute care, triage, trauma bays, clinical decision unit, and psych areas
  • All-age patient population: newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric care experience utilized
  • Epic EMR system; specialty equipment includes rapid infuser and Arctic Sun
  • Charge nurse capability highly preferred; floating to other units required
  • 13-week travel contract with competitive travel package for qualified candidates

Requirements:

  • Active New York State RN license verified through Nursys
  • Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with documented pediatric experience
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (all required)
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system
  • Experience administering critical drips including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation medications
  • Must reside 75+ miles from facility for travel rate; local candidates considered at local rate
