The nurse will work night shifts for 12 hours. The contract duration is 13 weeks. A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred. The nurse will be responsible for providing emergency care to a diverse patient population. The facility will allow for a 36 or 48-hour workweek. The nurse should be able to care for neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Experience in trauma care is preferred. A high level of skill in managing ventilated patients and central lines is required. The nurse should have experience in using the Epic charting system (preferred). Mandatory certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS. The nurse must be willing to float to similar units as needed. The role includes managing patients with various acute conditions, including trauma and critical illnesses. Experience with patient triage in an emergency setting is important. The nurse should be prepared to cover at least 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule.
