Description: This position is for an Emergency Room Nurse on a night shift. The role offers an option of working either 36 or 48 hours per week. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Candidates should have experience managing various emergency situations. Maintaining a patient ratio of 5:1 is expected. Experience with trauma level I and II emergency care is preferred. Familiarity with the following procedures is necessary: - Arterial line management - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood product administration - Care of ventilated patients - Central line care and management Skills in interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias are required. Candidates should be comfortable with care in a multi-age patient demographic, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support services will be available on the unit. Travelers are expected to float to similar units as needed. Compliance with health and safety protocols is mandatory. Training and onboarding will be provided upon arrival. All required modules will be completed onsite during orientation.
