Weekends may exceed every other to meet unit needs. Candidates must have experience with patient ratios of 1:4. First-timers are considered. No call or float is required for this assignment. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend and may exceed to meet unit needs. Pending licenses are not accepted. Requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Facility has the ability to call off staff once per two-week pay period. The facility type is an acute care hospital with a total of 212 staffed beds. The daily census is approximately 200. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Patient diagnoses cover all differential patient diagnoses. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as required. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Providers may be required to submit cell phone bills as needed for work-related communication. No direct contact with facility personnel is allowed unless for an agreed-upon interview. Modules related to training are completed prior to start and during orientation. All time spent on modules is factored into non-billable hours.
