Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Upstate New York

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM, block scheduling based on department needs

Highlights
  • 64-bed Emergency Department treating newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
  • Diverse case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
  • EPIC EMR system utilized throughout the facility
  • Comprehensive unit includes 40 acute beds, 6 super track, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU, and 6 psychiatric beds
  • Experience with specialty equipment including Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun
  • Charge nurse capability highly preferred; floating to other units required
Requirements
  • Active New York Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric patient exposure
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
  • EPIC EMR experience required
