Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs.

Highlights:
  • 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
  • Level of care includes stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
  • Specialized equipment experience includes Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun technology
  • Unit configuration: 40 acute beds, 6 super track, 2 trauma bays, 2 triage, 10 clinical decision unit beds, and 6 psychiatric observation beds
  • EPIC EMR system utilized throughout the facility
  • Charge nurse capability highly preferred
Requirements:
  • Active New York RN license (verification via NURSYS required)
  • Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience with pediatric patient exposure
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (TNCC must be in hand prior to start)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
  • Valid driver's license
  • Local and non-local candidates welcome (different rate structures may apply)
