Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 19th or 26th, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM shifts in a high-acuity, 64-bed Emergency Department

Highlights:
  • Work in a comprehensive ED with 64 beds including acute care, trauma, CDU, psych, and super track units
  • Gain experience with diverse patient populations from newborns through geriatrics
  • EPIC EMR system utilized facility-wide
  • Manage high-acuity cases including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
  • Opportunity for charge nurse responsibilities (highly preferred)
  • Exposure to specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
Requirements:
  • Active New York State RN license (verification via NURSYS required)
  • Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Pediatric patient care experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Proficiency with critical drips including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation medications
  • Willingness to float to other units as needed
  • Valid driver's license
