Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.
The role requires working night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks.
The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 5:1.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
Orientation will include 36 hours of training.
Participation in at least 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule is required.
Knowledge and skills in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, and blood product administration are essential.
The nurse will provide care for patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
The emergency room deals with a diverse range of patient diagnoses and special procedures.
Candidates must possess essential certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
Documentation skills, as well as familiarity with electronic charting systems, are preferred.
This position may involve floating to similar units as needed.
All candidates must be prepared to complete necessary compliance requirements before starting.
The facility allows for a flexible 36 or 48-hour schedule.
