Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Emergency Room (ER/ED) services for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Provide direct patient care in a 65-bed unit, handling patients from minor injuries to critical conditions
- Use and interpret telemetry monitors, managing patients with a wide range of complaints
- Collaborate with a specialized trauma team, assisting with the care of Level 1/2 trauma patients
- Titrate and manage vasopressor and cardiac drips as part of patient care
- Navigate the EPIC charting system to ensure accurate and timely patient records
- Adapt quickly to the dynamic needs of a high-acuity environment
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Active IL license or proof of initiation of licensure process
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 prior travel assignment preferred
- SANE RN experience and experience in a teaching hospital preferred
- Proficiency in interpreting and responding to life-threatening rhythms
