Job Summary

Join a dedicated perioperative team as a Registered Nurse at a hospital in Great Falls, Montana. This dynamic role encompasses pre-operative assessment, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) recovery, and post-procedural care for a diverse patient population.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing both adult and pediatric patients across a wide range of surgical specialties, including Orthopedics, Podiatry, ENT, Urology, GYN, General Surgery, Plastics, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology, and Cath Lab procedures. This position requires a commitment to patient safety, comfort, and excellent clinical outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for various surgical and interventional procedures.
  • Provide expert post-anesthesia care, monitoring and managing adult and pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia.
  • Oversee the recovery of patients post-cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage pain effectively.
  • Identify and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns as appropriate.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
Required Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Proficiency in the recovery of both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including call and holiday rotations.
