Description:
The Emergency Room is a Level IV Trauma Center.
We are seeking a registered nurse with experience in fast-paced environments.
The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively.
The nurse will be responsible for the assessment and management of patients in critical conditions.
Responsibilities include the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, administration of continuous IV sedation, and procedural sedation.
The expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:3-4 for day and night shifts.
Nurses must work every weekend, with varying start times.
The emergency department sees diverse patient diagnoses and age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary environment.
Preferred experience includes managing ventilated patients and performing lifesaving procedures.
Candidates should be adaptable and willing to float as needed within the facility.
All required certifications must be current and maintained throughout the duration of employment.
