Join our very high acuity unit now! - **Shift:** Days (7 AM - 7 PM) - **Start:** ASAP - In this role, you will: - Manage a diverse patient load, including strokes, cardiovascular cases, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health issues, and sepsis. - Encounter some trauma cases in a fast-paced environment with security on-site 24/7. - Use your clinical expertise to provide both routine and complex care. - **Key Responsibilities:** - Ensure adherence to OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Provide nursing care utilizing the complete nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families. - Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. - Educate patients, family members, and caregivers based on assessed learning needs. - **Qualifications:** - Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. - Experience: 1 year in a related nursing specialty preferred. - Required certifications: - BLS certification via AHA - ACLS certification via AHA - PALS certification via AHA - RN License in state of employment or compact - TNCC certification - De-Escalation certification - **Position Requirements:** - Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - New hires will be precepted by trained staff members. - Completion of all annual competency verification requirements is essential.
