Clinical procedures such as IV insertion, Foley catheter placement, and dressing changes must be performed effectively.
The RN will provide patient and family education.
Maintaining high standards in the use of telemetry, IV, ventilation, and safe medication administration is expected.
The RN will act as a patient advocate and work both independently and as part of a team.
Constructive feedback must be accepted, and professional appearance should be maintained.
Tasks must be completed within the designated timeframe.
Initiative should be taken to conduct necessary follow-ups.
The RN should be prepared to handle complex patient cases, including those with acute medical needs and trauma.
Strong skills in communication and interpersonal relations are essential.
Interdisciplinary support will be available from various services.
The daily census may involve a diverse patient population across multiple age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
This role requires flexibility to meet patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
