Description:
This position requires 3/12-hour shifts from 19:00 - 07:30 every other weekend.
The following certifications are required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities include the management and care of patients with various medical emergencies.
Skills required include abdominal pain assessment, acute psychosis treatment, and management of ventilated patients.
The nurse will administer medications and perform emergency procedures as needed.
Interdisciplinary support will be provided as necessary for patient care.
Candidates should be familiar with charting systems, particularly Epic.
The patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily census averages around 16 patients with a bed capacity of 33.
A maximum of 7 days of time off may be requested during the contract period.
Compliance with onboarding and work history verification is required.
