TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Antioch, California, 94509!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Mid Shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Community hospital experience required - Trauma Level II experience required - Experience with a patient ratio of 4:1 Description: These positions will involve 3 shifts of 12 hours each. Shifts will vary between 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Every other weekend availability is required. Candidates will care for patients across various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 16 patients. Nurses will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. They will manage diverse emergency care situations including trauma cases, mental health conditions, and acute illnesses. Experience with Epic charting systems is preferred. Successful candidates will have demonstrated skills in managing ventilated patients, intubation, IV management, and procedural sedation monitoring. A strong foundation in emergency medicine is essential for this role.
