This role requires providing acute care within a Level III trauma center, offering a range of emergency services. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room- Perform acute care and assessment of emergency patients
- Initiate IVs, collect blood, and administer blood transfusions
- Administer medications and resuscitate adult and pediatric patients
- Provide care for behavioral health patients
- Assist with intubation, restraint application, and splinting
- Perform moderate sedation
- Work flexibly across various unit areas, including triage and resus rooms
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room- ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC certification
- Experience in emergency room settings
- Skills in acute care procedures and assessments
- Optional: TNCC, ATCN/CEN Certification
