Shifts: Every other weekend required
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting travel assignment in Utica, NY. This role requires an RN with a strong background in emergency nursing in a high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED- Deliver emergency nursing care in a high-acuity 68-bed unit
- Manage patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 based on acuity and staffing
- Work collaboratively with support staff including PCTs, triage RNs, and charge RNs
- Utilize Epic for accurate charting and patient management
- Participate in clinical orientation and shadowing as required
- Maintain proficiency in emergency drips such as TNK and Cleviprex
Requirements of the RN - ED- Valid NY RN license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency nursing and travel experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC or ATCN, NIHSS, PALS certifications
- Proficiency in Epic charting system
- Pediatric experience preferred
