ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required. Every other weekend availability is mandatory. Five years of experience required as per management. Patient age groups treated include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 50 to 70 patients. The unit supports interdisciplinary services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and unit secretary. The registered nurse will manage BiPAP/CPAP, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, and continuous IV sedation. Emergency medications, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), and management of dysrhythmias are part of the responsibilities. Candidates must be capable of procedural sedation administration and monitoring as well as triage. Compliance includes a 7-year work history verification and accuracy in providing work history information.
