Description:
An experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse is needed.
Candidates must have current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
The role involves providing immediate care to patients in the Emergency Department.
The nurse will be responsible for managing critical conditions and performing emergency procedures.
The nurse should be skilled in BiPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients.
Central line care/management and continuous IV sedation experience are essential.
Candidates should be proficient in emergency medications and interpretation of arterial blood gases.
The role requires knowledge of isolation precautions and management of dysrhythmias.
Procedural sedation administration/monitoring and triage skills are necessary.
This position may require coverage on weekends and holidays as per scheduling needs.
Interdisciplinary support is available from various services, including Physical Therapy and Social Services.
The patient population includes neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily patient census ranges from 50 to 70.
The unit has 12 rooms with a total of 11 beds available for patient care.
