**Job Description:**
- Position: ER Registered Nurse
- Specialty: Emergency Room (ER RN)
- Shift Details:
- Day shifts: 3x12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM)
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience
- First-timers are welcome!
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:5 with mixed/shared acuity levels
- Skills Required:
- General Emergency Department care for adults and pediatrics
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Blood product administration and central line care/management
- Phlebotomy and starting IVs
- Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Continuous IV paralytics and IV sedation
- Emergency medications and IV vasopressors
- Procedural sedation administration
- Understanding CVA and isolation precautions
- Float Requirement: Yes, when census warrants
- Weekend Commitment: Every other weekend
- Charting System: Epic (preferred)
- Dress Code: Any combination of navy and white
- Additional Notes:
- Minimal RTO (Request Time Off) is encouraged.

- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and placing IVs is required.
