Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Nebraska

Start Date: September 27, 2026

Location: Nebraska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time permanent position; Emergency Department operates 24 hours per day, seven days a week with physician coverage at all times

Highlights:
  • Provide direct patient care to a service population of approximately 10,000 people
  • Work in a collaborative Emergency Department environment with full physician support
  • Comprehensive nursing care for acutely ill and critically ill patients including triage, medication administration, IV therapy, and blood transfusions
  • Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment in emergency care settings
  • Opportunity for certification advancement including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and CPR
  • Permanent, full-time direct hire position with tribal health organization
Requirements:
  • Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program (must be accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education)
  • Current, active, full, and unrestricted RN license from a U.S. state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory
  • Must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX)
  • At least two (2) years of professional nursing experience; one (1) year in an Emergency Room setting preferred
  • Current or willingness to obtain ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and CPR certifications
  • Physical ability to lift 20-50 lbs and transfer patients; ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
