This position requires both ER and ICU experience. The nurse will float between various facilities as needed. The Emergency Department has 11 beds and 1 trauma bay. The department sees approximately 35 patients per day. The nurse will work in a ratio of 4 patients to 1 nurse. Charting is done using an electronic medical record system. House resources are available for support after hours. Weekend and holiday shifts are required. Floating to the ICU is part of the role.
