Job Summary
Join an acute care facility in Globe, Arizona, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical care. This role involves providing direct patient care to adult populations across Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, and Observation units.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse patient caseload, ensuring high-quality care delivery within established patient ratios of 1:6 for Med-Surg/Observation and 1:4 for Step Down units. This position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive environment, utilizing advanced medical technology and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, and Observation units.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry readings accurately.
- Administer medications safely and efficiently using automated dispensing systems and IV pumps.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient condition and emergent situations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
- Recent experience in Telemetry nursing.

- Experience in a Step Down unit.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical proficiency in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing practices.

- Competence in operating Alaris IV pumps.
- Experience with Omnicell automated medication dispensing systems.

Shift Details
- Shift Type: Night shift (NOC)
- Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Days per week: 3 days per week
- Schedule: Set schedules.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks.
- Start Date: August 19, 2026.
- Call Requirements: Option to take call during times of low census, rotating with full-time staff.
- Cancellation Policy: Assignment may be subject to cancellation up to 3 times during the contract period.
