Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergent conditions.
- Conduct rapid and accurate patient assessments, prioritizing interventions based on acuity.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and operate medical equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records.
- Respond to emergency situations and codes with speed and proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent, acute care experience in an Emergency Department setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

- Additional: Opportunity to pick up additional shifts. All Requests for Time Off (RTO) must be pre-approved and will be added to the end of the contract. Full availability for scheduling is required.
Licensing Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or a Compact Multi-State License.
- Completion of an approved 6-hour suicide training specific to Washington State requirements.
- Verification of demographics through Nursys.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
