Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Charge
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse with Charge Nurse experience for a 13-week contract in Aberdeen, Washington. This role involves providing expert nursing care to a diverse patient population within a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, from initial assessment to discharge or transfer.
- Lead and coordinate patient care activities as a Charge Nurse, ensuring efficient patient flow and resource utilization.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Respond rapidly and effectively to emergent situations, performing critical interventions as required.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.
- Proven Charge Nurse experience.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player in a high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

- Hours: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (1830-0700)
- Duration: 12-hour shifts

Licensing Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or a Compact Multi-State RN license.
- Completion of approved 6-hour suicide training specific to Washington State.
- Verification of demographics via Nursys.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
