A minimum of one year of RN experience is required, with prior triage experience preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to float to inpatient units as needed. Experience in Level I or Level II trauma is preferred but not mandatory. The shift schedule includes three 12-hour shifts. Registered Nurses may work weekends on an every-other-weekend basis. Ratios are 1:3 in the emergency department. The position requires ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and either ENPC or PALS certifications. Travelers must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing their contract. All candidates must commit to completing Livescan fingerprinting. Travelers will be required to work holidays as needed. There are restrictions on time off; all requests must be disclosed upfront. No more than ten days of time off are allowed per assignment, and there is a minimum work requirement in the first week. Local candidates cannot live within 50 miles of the facility.
