Join Our Dynamic Emergency Room Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - **Specialty:** Emergency Room - **Unit:** CPH ER - CC 120105035 - **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) - **Weekend Requirement:** Every other weekend (2 weekends in a 4-week schedule) - **Patient Ratio:** 1:5 **Required Skills and Experience:** - Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center - First-time travelers accepted; locals are not eligible (must be >50 miles away) - Proficient in general emergency department skills - Experience with both adult and pediatric patients - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias - Skilled in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Competent in blood product administration, central line care/management, and phlebotomy - Experience starting IVs, administering continuous IV sedation, and IV vasopressors - Knowledgeable in CVA, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, ortho-trauma - Familiar with abdominal pain, asthma, burns, epiglottitis, head injuries, hyperglycemia - Competent in identifying and reporting abuse, infections, mental/behavioral health conditions, respiratory infections, seizures, and urinary tract infections - Experience with ventilated patients, gunshot wounds, and traumatic amputations **Certifications:** - Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications required **Preferred Skills and Certifications:** - CPI, TCAR **Unit Systems:** - Experience with EPIC, Pyxis, and SBAR documentation and communication systems **Orientation:** - 24 hours of unit orientation included **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
