Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a travel assignment in Ohio. This role involves working in a fast-paced emergency department, and requires a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional health.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient responses to care and adjust plans as necessary.
- Provide education to patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Triage patients effectively based on the severity of illness or injury.
- Assist in resuscitation, stabilization, and advanced life support procedures during emergencies.
- Operate and maintain emergency equipment, including defibrillators, monitors, and ventilators.
- Communicate patient status, changes, and care plans clearly to team members and families.
- Adhere to established protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)- Current Ohio State Board of Nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing and travel experience preferred
