Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a travel assignment in Ohio. This position requires delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The ED RN will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide critical patient assessments and ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional health
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient responses to care and adjust plans as necessary
- Provide education to patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
- Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on severity of illness or injury
- Assist in resuscitation, stabilization, and advanced life support procedures during emergencies
- Operate and maintain emergency equipment, including defibrillators, monitors, and ventilators
- Work closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate care
- Communicate patient status, changes, and care plans clearly to team members and families
- Adhere to established protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Participate in continuing education and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse- Current Ohio State Board of Nursing license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Travel nursing experience preferred
