Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Florida

Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM start time) with every other weekend required
Highlights:
- Fast-paced Emergency Department environment treating a diverse patient population including urgent care, pediatric, psychiatric, and critical care/trauma cases
- Manage critical care patients requiring medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion protocols, and chest tubes
- Experience with stroke, STEMI, and critical care patients with drips essential
- Cerner EMR system utilized
- Opportunity to coordinate and deliver complex nursing care while promoting patient safety and positive outcomes
- Candidates must reside 100 miles or more from the facility location
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license in state of practice
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required
- BSN highly desired
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Demonstrated competency managing stroke, STEMI, and critical care patients with continuous drips
