Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Florida

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: South Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM start time) with every other weekend required

Highlights:
  • Fast-paced Emergency Department environment treating a diverse patient population including urgent care, pediatric, psychiatric, and critical care/trauma cases
  • Manage critical care patients requiring medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion protocols, and chest tubes
  • Experience with stroke, STEMI, and critical care patients with drips essential
  • Cerner EMR system utilized
  • Opportunity to coordinate and deliver complex nursing care while promoting patient safety and positive outcomes
  • Candidates must reside 100 miles or more from the facility location
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse license in state of practice
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required
  • BSN highly desired
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Demonstrated competency managing stroke, STEMI, and critical care patients with continuous drips
