Description

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening and night shifts with 12-hour and 8-hour shifts as needed (1500-0330 or 1900-0730). Weekend and holiday rotation required. Patient ratio of 4:1.

  • Level I Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke Center and Comprehensive Cardiac Center designations
  • Epic electronic medical records system utilized throughout the facility
  • Magnet-designated academic medical center recognized as a leading teaching institution and referral center
  • Exposure to advanced care including ECPR/ECMO, transplant, oncology, and burn care programs
  • 20 hours of orientation provided; travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period

Requirements:

  • Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
  • Minimum of two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • BLS, PALS, ACLS (American Heart Association only), and TNCC certifications required
  • Previous travel experience required; charge experience preferred
  • Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I experience preferred
  • Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start date (strict passing criteria apply)
  • Must be located at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
