Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1900 - 0730), includes weekends and holidays

  • Comprehensive emergency care serving nearly 45,000 patients annually across the full lifespan
  • Modern 40-room emergency department plus 19 vertical care spaces with flex capacity during high-volume periods
  • 4:1 patient ratio with 20 hours of orientation and interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy
  • Epic charting system required; telemetry testing required prior to start
  • Free onsite parking available

Requirements:

  • Two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years required
  • Wisconsin RN or Compact RN license required
  • BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA only), and TNCC certifications required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
  • Previous travel experience required
  • Must pass telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to start
  • Must be willing to float as needed within the health system
  • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
