Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Humble, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4 weekend shifts per month required. Day shift includes charge nurse, 10 RNs, 2-3 techs, and 1 unit secretary. Night shift staffed similarly. No on-call required.
Highlights:
- 28-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratios
- Typical procedures include IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, EKG, and emergency interventions
- EMR system: Meditech
- Collaborative team environment with dedicated support staff on every shift
- Royal blue scrubs provided as part of unit dress code
- No floating to other units
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas (or willingness to obtain)
- Acute Emergency Department experience required
- Current certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS
- Trauma experience preferred
- Active, personable demeanor with strong communication skills
