# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Houston, Texas**Start Date:** November 30, 2026**Location:** Houston, Texas**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** 4:1 patient ratio with rotating shifts; every other weekend required; 50-bed Emergency Department**Highlights:**- Level II Trauma Center with comprehensive emergency services including Comprehensive Stroke Center designation (survey pending) and Chest Pain Center- Collaborative staffing model with Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, LVNs, Paramedics, PCTs, and Behavioral Health Technicians on each shift- Modern equipment including GE Monitors and Belmont Rapid Infuser systems- Meditech EMR platform- Pathway to Excellence designation with Journey to Magnet status- Full-spectrum trauma and emergency procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment**Requirements:**- Active RN license- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required- Trauma experience preferred- Meditech EMR experience preferred- Strong team collaboration skills and positive attitude**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**Join a progressive emergency department that values nursing excellence and professional development.
