Registered Nurse – Emergency Room - Travel - (ER RN)
StartDate: 10/6/2026 Available Shifts: 12 E/N Pay Rate: $2426.00 - $2550.00

Shift: 12E/N, 1a-1p, 3p-3a, 5p-5a, 7p-7a, will work every shift during the course of the assignment. Travel ER RN jobs at John Muir Medical in Walnut Creek, California place you in a 554-bed acute care hospital that is a Level II trauma center. The facility is recognized for its fast-paced emergency department, with an average daily census of 190-200 patients and rapid patient turnover. Walnut Creek is located in the East Bay region, about a 30-minute drive from San Francisco. The city is known for the Lindsay Wildlife Experience, a unique wildlife rehabilitation center and museum. To qualify, you must have current nursing licensure, 2 years of emergency room experience, and proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Strongly preferred qualifications include Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), trauma experience, and pediatric experience. Critical thinking and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment are essential, as travelers triage ambulance patients at the bedside and may hold inpatient admissions.
