Seven Healthcare are seeking an ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency room environment. The assignment includes every other weekend scheduling and the potential to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)

• Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias)
• Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues
• Administer blood products
• Manage central lines
• Start and maintain IVs
• Administer IV sedation and vasopressors
• Care for stroke (CVA) patients
• Care for ventilated patients
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Follow isolation precautions
• Perform triage

Requirements of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience, 2 years of recent ER experience required
• Active state nursing license required (NY or compact)
• If no NY license, must have already applied and provide application date
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• No disciplinary issues on nursing license
• Interview is phone or virtual
