Shifts: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; every other weekend required
Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled ER Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role requires an experienced nurse specializing in emergency care, working in a dynamic and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have substantial ER experience and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)- Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias)
- Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues
- Administer blood products
- Manage central lines
- Start and maintain IVs
- Administer IV sedation and vasopressors
- Care for stroke (CVA) patients
- Care for ventilated patients
- Manage BiPAP/CPAP
- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Follow isolation precautions
- Perform triage
Requirements of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)- Active state nursing license required (NY or compact)
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience; 2 years of recent ER experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
- No disciplinary issues on nursing license
- Interview is phone or virtual
