Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department!
Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs are on the front lines, providing crucial care to patients
at their most vulnerable moments. Join a dedicated team where you will:
- Deliver specialized and innovative services to patients of all ages.
- Be equipped to handle a variety of emergency situations with confidence.
- Receive training to tackle diverse trauma situations requiring quick and decisive action.
- Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions.
- Prioritize patient injuries and medical needs effectively.
To thrive in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 18 months of nursing experience in an ED environment.
- ED experience within the past six months.
- A demonstrated level of performance and practice.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- The ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
- ASN required; BSN preferred.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS-AHA, ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours certifications required.
- 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- 3 x 12 shifts
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call or float requirement
- Scrub color: Navy
