**Exciting Opportunity for Emergency Department RN**
**Job Description:**
- Join our dynamic Emergency Department (ED) team and be at the forefront of patient care when it matters most!
- As an ED RN, you will provide specialized and innovative services while caring for patients of all ages.
- Be prepared to handle a variety of emergency situations and trauma events that require quick and decisive actions.
- Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions.
- Prioritize injuries and medical needs, demonstrating your vital skills in a fast-paced environment.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
- Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience in an ED environment.
- Recent ED experience within the last six months.
- Proven performance and practice in nursing care.
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
**Required Hard Skills:**
- Emergency Department experience.
- 8 hours of stroke CEUs.
- NIHSS certification.
**Required Soft Skills:**
- 4 trauma CEUs.
**Education:**
- ASN required; BSN preferred.
**Certifications & Licensure:**
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS-AHA certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Telemetry certification.
- PALS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- CEU Contact Stroke (4 hours).
**Schedule Notes:**
- Job Title: ED Night RN
- Shift: 7P-7A
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call Requirement: None
- Float Requirement: May float to the 12 BED Satellite ED.
