Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (ER)- Administering conscious sedation
- Participating in intubations
- Performing behavioral health watch
- Managing sepsis cases
- Administering TPA for stroke patients
- Responding to heart alerts for chest pain
Requirements of the Registered Nurse (ER)- Active TX RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Must have PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS
- At least 2+ years of ER experience
- Experience with Meditech preferred
- CEN preferred
